With its rectangular design, the buzzer blends seamlessly into the Series 51 range, enabling a consistent, harmonious design for user interfaces – from push buttons and indicators right through to the buzzer. With the appropriate wiring, the Series 51 buzzer can generate either a continuous tone or an intermittent tone (~2–3 Hz*). This allows a single HMI Component to cover both a warning and an alarm function. Developers of control panels thus benefit from simpler bills of materials and fewer qualification steps. The volume of the sound output, with a sound pressure level of 88 dB(A), can be adapted to industrial environments, and the wide voltage range from 10–26 VAC/VDC to 10–75 VDC* allows for highly flexible use in a variety of applications.

The buzzer really showcases its advantages in applications involving frequently recurring signals, such as machine alarms or vehicle warning systems. As there are no moving mechanical parts or contacts, there is no mechanical wear and tear, even with intensive use.
