With snap-action switching element.
Stop switches are different from emergency stop switches because they do not have to be foolproof. Thanks to their snap-action element, they are particularly suitable for use as on/off switches worldwide in mobile control units as well as in apparatus and mechanical engineering.

Emergency stop switches with positive opening function (in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13850 and EN 60204-1) primarily serve to protect people. Emergency stop switches are always foolproof. They are easily recognisable by the red lens with yellow actuator or yellow protective shroud.
