EAO is significantly expanding its Auerbach site in order to pool resources and expertise, avoid duplication of structures and focus the organisation more strongly on customer benefits. Parts of production and operational functions are being relocated from the headquarters in Switzerland to Auerbach, Germany. A central European logistics hub is also being established in the Vogtland region, which will handle all deliveries to customers and sub-hubs worldwide in future. Olten (Switzerland) will remain the headquarters for strategic functions, the competence centre for product development and the production of important railway assemblies and switching elements. In Auerbach, the number of employees will double, new spaces, job profiles and central corporate divisions will be created – always in line with EAO's values.
