Safety-tested components for maximum reliability
EAO is presenting the PREMIUM Rugged Keypad from the 09 series at Agritechnica. It is in demand wherever vehicle superstructures or attachments are moved and controlled automatically and safety and reliability are top priorities. The PREMIUM version meets the highest safety requirements and has been developed in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13849. It achieves Performance Level D (PLd), which has been confirmed and certified by DEKRA Testing and Certification GmbH. For manufacturers, this means that integrating these functionally safe components saves on development and certification costs and enables a faster market launch.
Easy integration thanks to CANopen Safety
The keypad is equipped with a CANopen Safety protocol that was developed specifically for safety-critical applications. It complies with international safety standards (in particular DIN EN ISO 13849) and uses various mechanisms for error detection and correction. Redundant communication increases the reliability of the entire system. In addition to easy integration, the CANopen Safety protocol offers the same advantages as CANopen: flexibility, real-time capability and scalability. For users, this means increased system stability, which has a positive effect on operating costs.

In addition to maximum safety and reliability, the PREMIUM version of the 09 series impresses with its robust design and long service life. The resistant and low-maintenance keypads significantly reduce downtime thanks to their integrated safety architecture for error prevention. Interactive AR application as a trade fair highlight
A special highlight at the EAO stand is the interactive AR application, which allows visitors to experience the PREMIUM Rugged Keypad in a realistic operating environment. Trade fair visitors can virtually simulate the operation of a tractor and experience how the keypad can be used in a typical working situation. Haptic feedback, visual feedback and safety-related functions are presented in a deceptively realistic manner, making the technology immediately comprehensible to visitors.
