Olten, Switzerland, November 2024 – The Series 09 universal switch was specially developed for use in vehicle interiors, particularly for cars, electric vehicles, buses, trucks and special vehicles. EAO is expanding this versatile product range of the universal switch with a new variant with LIN interface – for even easier and better integration of the control units in the vehicle.
The LIN-BUS interface is becoming increasingly popular in modern vehicles in the automotive sector as well as in special vehicles or off-road applications. Communication with the LIN interface considerably reduces the wiring effort, which significantly reduces costs. The LIN variant of our Series 09 universal switch can be connected with a network of up to 16 participants via the integrated LIN-BUS controller and can be used to operate a variety of driving or comfort functions thanks to a daisy-chained LIN signal.

The LIN variant of the Series 09 universal switch can be integrated into an existing communication system with various control devices or combined with more universal switches to form a separate network.

Illuminated symbols in accordance with ISO 7000 or according to customer requirements are also available.
