Automation engineer EFZ.
Cable meets code.
Are you interested in technology and enjoy tinkering? Then training as an automation engineer EFZ is just right for you! In this profession, you will develop and build intelligent controls for machines such as robots, conveyor systems and production machines. You will learn how to install, maintain and, if necessary, repair this equipment. You will work with current, but also with compressed air (pneumatics) and liquids (hydraulics). With your expertise, you will ensure that everything runs smoothly – true to the motto: without automation engineers, everything comes to a standstill!
Design engineer EFZ.
Ideas become plans.
Do you have good spatial awareness and an interest in technology? Design engineers EFZ develop technical drawings and 3D models for machines, devices or equipment. You will work on a computer using modern CAD programmes and translate technical ideas into precise plans. You will calculate the components, select suitable materials and ensure that everything fits together perfectly.
During your training, you will work closely with engineers and other specialists to turn initial sketches into clear and feasible plans. You will gain insight into various manufacturing processes and learn how a product is created from the initial idea to its implementation. Whether simple single parts or complex assemblies – your work is the basis for the manufacture of technical products.
If you enjoy tinkering, drawing, working with precision and have a technical understanding, then the profession of design engineer EFZ is just right for you.
Media specialist EFZ.
Where creativity goes digital!
Do you enjoy technology, design and creating digital content? Then training as a media specialist EFZ is just right for you! This versatile profession combines creativity, IT and communication: you will design websites, social media posts and print media, edit photos, videos and animations, support marketing and communication projects, and immerse yourself in exciting IT applications. With modern tools, innovative technologies and an international environment, you can contribute your ideas and help shape real projects from the very beginning. A first for us! We have never had a mediamatician EFZ in training before – so you would be the first. That means plenty of room for your own ideas, real pioneering work and a team that will support you from the very beginning.
Electronics technician EFZ.

During your training as an electronics technician EFZ, you will immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology. You will develop and programme electronic devices with microcontrollers, which are at the heart of many technical applications. You will work with modern hardware and software and find clever solutions to technical challenges. You will plan how a device is built, monitor production and also be involved in testing. Your day-to-day work will be varied: sometimes you will be tinkering on the computer, other times you will be working directly on the devices. If you enjoy thinking logically, programming or tinkering and are fascinated by technology, this is the job for you!
Computer scientist EFZ specialising in platform development.

Would you like to work behind the scenes of the digital world? In the computer scientist EFZ training programme specialising in platform development, you will learn how to set up and maintain IT systems and quickly find the right solution in the event of malfunctions. You will be responsible for ensuring that servers, networks and devices run reliably – whether in the office or in the cloud. You will work with state-of-the-art technologies and be part of a team that keeps the digital infrastructure running. Security issues and efficient work processes will also be part of your daily routine. If you enjoy tinkering, thinking logically and finding technical problems exciting, this training programme is just right for you!
Logistics specialist EFZ / specialising in warehousing.

Have you ever thought about how parcels, food or goods find their way to their destination? As a logistics specialist EFZ specialising in warehousing, that's exactly what you'll be responsible for. You'll receive various goods, check them carefully and prepare them for storage or delivery. You will use modern technology, plan intelligently and ensure that everything is in the right place at the right time. If you like to get stuck in, keep track of things and are looking for variety in your job, this training programme is made for you!
Facilities maintenance specialist EFZ.

Would you like to make sure that everything runs round – in and around a building? During your training as a facility maintenance specialist, you will learn how to keep buildings, equipment and their surroundings clean, safe and functional. You will be on the go every day, checking building services, repairing defective devices or taking care of waste disposal. There is also plenty to do outside: you will maintain green spaces and clear paths. Depending on your specialisation, your tasks will vary slightly – but variety is guaranteed! If you like to get stuck in, enjoy practical work and want to take on responsibility, this training programme is perfect for you.

Are you interested in a varied career where you can demonstrate your organisational skills and ability to work in a team? During your training as a commercial clerk EFZ, you will learn how to keep track of things in a company and organise everyday tasks. You will take on exciting tasks such as processing orders, entering bookings and checking payments. Customer contact and reception work will also be part of your daily routine – no two days are the same!
