The industry’s most powerful 36mm cooling fan has been launched by Sanyo Denki and is now available in the UK from EAO.
The new San Ace 36 DC fan delivers an impressive 0.55 m3/min at a static pressure of 525 Pa, which makes it the best choice for cooling high impedance 1U-size power supply units and densely-populated electronic equipment.
The ‘static impeller’ frame has been redesigned to improve the airflow. Compared to conventional 40mm x 28mm fans, the San Ace 36mm x 28mm unit can achieve a 15% increase in airflow at peak operating conditions of high impedance systems. It is available in two speed options, J and G speed, and has a maximum noise level of 58.5 dB(A).
The San Ace 36 will operate in a voltage of 12VDC and provides a long service life of 40,000 hours at 60OC from its dual ball bearing motor. A 3rd wire pulse sensor is standard to monitor fan speed.
EAO can supply this fan fitted with a 4-wire PWM speed control for power management. This feature enables adjustments in rotational speed down to the lowest possible setting so power consumption and fan noise can be reduced to an absolute minimum.
